About Luna
Luna and her 3 siblings came into care as strays. All of Luna’s siblings have found their forever homes, and now it’s her turn!
Luna is curious, playful and affectionate and will fit into any home. She is an all white kitten with two small black smudges on top of her head.
She loves to sprawl out over her siblings or whichever lap she has claimed as her own as she snoozes the afternoon away. She loves her foster carer working from home because it means more lap time!
Luna loves playing with her toy mouse and is often found carrying it around in her mouth. She adores playing chasey with her siblings and can spend ages running and pouncing on them, getting the best hiding spot for an element of surprise.
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via the JotForm.
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A Property check will take place via a video call (due to Covid restrictions). Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work until the date of adoption. The pet will be rehomed desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
