About Ava
This beautiful lady knows what she wants and when she wants it. Ava is an independent cat who is happy to watch the world go by and seeks human affection when she needs to top up her vitamin C(uddle).
Ava likes to sit and cuddle in bed or on the couch at night. Her absolute favourite game is chasing her little mice toys. You can also find her hiding under furniture, pawing at you for fun. Don’t think you can get away with eating yummy foods; Ava wants a bite, please!
A typical day is mainly spent indoors. She couldn’t go outside safely previously, but she’d love to explore a (secure) yard, or a cat run. Ava is litter trained and prefers to be the only pet. She doesn’t mind older kids, but she’s not a fan of being picked up by the younger ones. Ava lived with dogs before, but she would lash out at them. She’s never lived with another feline friend.
Do you have the quiet household Ava is longing for? She’d love to build a special 1:1 relationship with you. An enclosed yard is a bonus!
Medical notes
Ava has an early dental disease and needs a clean within the next 6 months. She recently changed to dental biscuits on the recommendation of the vet. Besides this, she’s fit as a fiddle!

When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
