About Benny ~ Boxer X (Adopted 28/05/2022)
PLEASE NOTE: Dog Rescue Newcastle provide individual listings specific to each foster dog that comes through our doors. Each listing outlines the specific requirements, and home that we are looking for. Should you submit an application OR inquiry and NOT receive a response within 5 business days (Monday-Friday), please understand that you have not met the specific requirements of the foster carer and will not be proceeding to the next stage. Please do not be disheartened or discouraged if you do not receive a reply, this simply means you were not a suitable match at this time. Dog Rescue Newcastle reserve the right to not reply to unsuitable applicants and will not tolerate bullying, intimidation or harassment of our volunteers
Meet Benny a tan with a black face 16 week old Boxer x Staffy. Benny is extremely affectionate and loves to have cuddles with his foster carer.
Benny loves to playing outside with his foster sibling and loves nothing more than being with you. His favourite toys are tennis balls especially ones that squeak or rattle.
Benny was born in our care and has learnt how to sit and bring the ball back (when he wants too) Benny enjoys play tug a war with his sibling and mum. Benny hasn’t had any experience with walking on a lead and will need to attend puppy school or further training.
Benny is mostly toilet trained and currently sleeps inside on a doggy bed with his sibling and loves to snuggle into his blankets.
Benny,s forever family will need to have an active lifestyle and understand that Benny need training and will need exercise and mental stimulation. Benny would love a home with another dog. As he loves his humans so much, he would need to be welcomed inside when the family is home and be involved in his new family’s life. Benny would benefit with someone that is home most of the time or works part time. Since Benny is only a puppy and gets excited around family and new people he can jump up, a home with children over the age of 8 is needed. Benny,s new home will need good fencing that is 6ft tall with no small gaps.
As Benny is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to residents of Newcastle, Hunter Valley, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he will need to be returned to our vet for desexing when he is five months old. This is not negotiable.
