About Barney ~ 2.5yr Old Cattle Dog X(On Trial 17/06/22)
Barney is a beautiful 2 1/2 yr old cattle X boy, with such a warm heart. He is ready to give his love and affection all day, everyday. From his puppy eyes, to his fun loving spirit, you will never get sick of the lifelong devotion he is prepared to give you. His puppy like nature means he is ready to have a play 24/7, and go for regular walks and runs to keep his brain occupied and full. Such a happy doggy, it’s a wonder his tail doesn’t fall off - he wags it all the time. On the other hand - he loves a snuggle and will fall asleep on you in the drop of a hat.
Food is his absolute motivator and needs his special bowl for slowing him down to eat dinner, but treats will also help him with training. He is a ball of energy who also likes to jump and can be a little mouthy (at the moment), which means he might be a bit much for small children. He will need high fences and is conscious of noises outside the house, which makes for a good guard dog. He is house trained and enjoys being both inside and out.
Barney is good with other dogs and, because we don’t have other animals, I am not sure about cats, birds, etc. He also loves his toys and bones.
Barney is very clever, and with the correct training will become an extremely obedient and loving dog.
For more information on Barney, please contact his foster carer Piri on her email piri.wynyard@gmail.com, Barney is in foster care in the Newcastle Region, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Barney’s adoption fee is $500 which includes all up to datr vet work. He is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms and microchipped.
