About Tilly ~ 7yr Old Rottweiler (Adopted FF 30/05/2022)
Weighing in at 48kg that’s a big package of love in one beautiful dog!!!
Meet Miss Tilly, you could waste hours cuddling this beautiful 7 year old Rottweiler girl and she will happily lap it up.
Rottweilers are second to none for being the most affectionate and adoring breed. You want a dog that will be your shadow and love you unconditionally. This is your girl.
Tilly is the gentlest soul. She will definitely need a home where she is allowed inside and be close to her humans. She is most content laying on the floor with you getting belly rubs.
For 7 years old she will still put you through your paces playing her favourite game of tug-o-war. She is strong and fast. And plays like a puppy.
Tilly is suited only to a large breed experienced dog owner home, preferably with Rottweiler experience, being a large breed she needs an owner who is firm but loving and can provide the level of affection and rule enforcement that the breed needs.
Whilst she loves humans a lot, she can be left alone, and happy to sit and relax while her person goes to work, she can amuse herself with interactive treat toys and search games. She will greet you when you arrive home with some crazy zoomies and lots of hugs!!!
Tilly has only one bad habit which is barking at people as they walk by, so if you have a fence she can’t see through this would be optimum.
Tilly is suited to a home with children over 7 years. (Due to her size)
She is tested with a cat and in true Rottweiler style is petrified of mine.
Tilly has resided with a submissive female 2 year old German Shepherd with no concerns so other dogs may be fine, pending a meet and greet.
Tilly is very good with basic commands, sit, stay, and eat. She has not shown any signs of food aggression and will sit and wait and shake hands before she will dig into her food.
Tilly copes very well at the vets and loves his baths.
Tilly happily sleeps inside or outside; and is untested with storms and firecrackers.
Please only apply if you can commit to giving her a loving dedicated forever home where she is part of the family and treasured because she deserves it.
