About Dudley
Dudley "Duds" came into care in Feb 2022 from a country NSW pound. Unfortunately he hadn't been doing so good there and was quite scared of people. We aren't sure of his origins before ending up in the pound.
We have worked really hard with Dudley to help him learn that people can be awesome! He is now very confident around his foster family and people who visit regularly. Dudley is very Smoochy and loves to "kiss" people and nuzzle into your hair when you sit down near him. He is usually the first to greet me when I get home in the evening.
He definitely remains wary of strangers but comes around very quickly especially if you have food.
He is absolutely INSANE when it comes to playing. He is extremely high energy and it is hard to get him to have a break. Dudley's favourite toys are pom poms (just regular craft store pom poms).
Dudley loves other cats but if he goes to a home with other animals they will need to be as boisterous as he is as he can get quite demanding when he wants to play!
We recently found out that Dudley has a very mild heart murmur that will need to be monitored and checked every 6-12months so we are looking for someone that will be happy and willing to proceed with this recommendation.
Duds is very special to us and we want him to have the most amazing life possible.

Dudley is microchipped, F3 vaccinated including booster, desexed, flea and worm treated regularly.

Applications for 4Lyfer's are based on best fit. 4Lyfe Rescue aim to place our fosters with the best suited applicant based on temperament, energy levels and any special requirements our foster may have. 4Lyfe Rescue will continue to foster an animal until it has found the perfect home.
4Lyfe Rescue will require a property inspection and meet and greet with the potential owner, residing family and resident pets before approving adoption. All cats are rehomed as indoor/cat containment enclosure only.
Full payment will be required once approved and before the animal is rehomed/ trialled with its potential new family.
