About Lorraine
Hi I am Lorraine, one of the Sunny Coast 6 who were rescued from a very bad living situation. As such I have some very specific issues but it you are very very patient I am the most loving little girl.
I am somewhere between the ages of 2 and 4 and may have had a litter or two but am now desexed.
I am very timid and shy with everyone I meet except my Foster Mum who I love dearly and give her lots of kisses and affection. I like being right be her side or as close as possible. Even when she has a shower I like to be on the other side of the glass.
Poor Foster Dad doesn’t get a look in unless he is sneaking me food from the table but I run away if he tries to pat me.
I currently live with an ex CRQ foster dog and she has taught me how to play with another dog and with toys so if you have a quiet little dog who can continue to teach me how to dog I think I might like that.
I really don’t like men or children so, ideally, a lady on her own with a little dog would be perfect as I have never been left on my own and not sure how I would cope but with a companion I’m ok.
I had never been on a lead but now I love love love my walks and sing the song of my people very loudly when I know we are going for a walk.
I travel ok but Foster Mum always puts me in a soft crate to transport as it doesn’t stress me as much.
If you come to meet me I will bark at you and run away so don’t expect me to give you any kisses. I am a one person dog and Foster mum is my person but, given time, you can be my person. You would need to give me time to settle in so I would need a soft pen to make me feel safe to start with.
We have been working with a Behavourist and are working on mat training and moving away from Foster Mum and making some decisions for myself. This is a work in progress and you would need to be able to continue this training with me.
Medical notes
Lorraine has been desexed, microchipped and had a dental with two extraction. Her vaccinations are up to date with C5 as well as flea, tick, intestinal worm and heart worm prevention. Lorraine's bloodwork was good.
