About Lacey
Lacey is a young four year old German Shepherd who found her way to a local shelter and has been in our care receiving one on one training with our amazing behaviourist/trainer.
Lacey is a very sweet and gentle young dog, and is now well trained and obedient and being socialised with other dogs.
Lacey would need a home where she can connect with her family and show how much love she can give to her humans and is fully house trained and so ready for a loving home.
Lacey being is a four year old female semi coated Shepherd who enjoys her daily walks and playtime. Lacey is suited to a home with either a single person or a couple that have experience with the German Shepherd breed and have the time and commitment for this affectionate girl and will ensure she is an integral family dog.
We want her to go to a home where she will be a family member. She is not suitable to go to a home with very young children due to her size.
Lacey is receiving one on one training with our Dog Trainer - Bear The Dog Behaviourist. She needs to go to a home with a family who have knowledge of the breed and have owned a German Shepherd or another large breed dog.
She is yet to be tested with cats or pocket pets.
Intelligence, loyalty, love and companionship is what Lacey will give in abundance when she connects and builds that trust with her new owner.
If you understand the nature of the German Shepherd, have recently owned this breed, and are looking for a companion dog then please consider Lacey.
If you think you can give me a new home please contact us by selecting "Enquire about Lacey".
Medical notes
Lacey is microchipped, fully vaccinated, on heart worm prevention and desexed.
Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
