Reba

Hi everyone, my name is Reba I am a 10 month old Kelpie X and being modest, a total sweetheart. My foster carer describes me as a loyal girl, placid and gentle in nature. In a nutshell I love a good play and nap. My foster carer calls me 'shadow 'as I tend to follow her everywhere even just to the next room, I need to keep an eye on things.

I would prefer a home where I can be one of the family, where I can snuggle and sleep inside. I would suit being the only dog in a home with a special someone where I can have all the attention or with another fur sibling similar in nature. I have done really well with my fur sibling at my foster home and we are great friends. My only request of my special someone is that they are calm, patient and understanding with me as I get accustomed to my new forever home, and I will reward you with all the love and loyalty a girl can offer.

During the day I like to play with my chew toys, human and other dogs. I like to go on walks and love LOVE the dog park where I can run and play with all my fur friends. I also like to chase my ball and eat carrots! I’m not the most energetic dog, I love to play and run however I also like to nap and chill in a quiet place or chew my bone.

I haven’t had the most stable start to life or a lot of early human interaction so I tend to trust dogs as their body language is honest and predictable. This means I can be shy with people at first but once I get to know you, I will shower you with tail wags and doggo kisses. As I am a shy girl, I don’t really like loud noises and can be startled by these, sudden movements can also startle me until I know you, particularly around my head. Once I know and trust you, I no longer mind and want all the head pats!

I am still learning and need someone to keep up with my fun training so I can be my best doggo self. I am a quick learner and a very smart girl - I already have very good manners and sit and wait for my food and know basic commands. Because I am very smart I need things that stimulate me such as firm chew toys, BONES!, exercise to keep me healthy and lots of love and belly rubs. I would also like a secure yard where I can run and stretch my legs.
