About Mildred
Mildred - she's such a pretty cat and if you read what her last foster carer wrote she's got a beautiful personality too.
Mildred is not a cat that enjoys being confined, she cannot stand the smell or even the look of another cat and really doesn't enjoy meeting new people.
With all that in mind you can just imagine how hard it is for her at our Longford Adoption centre.
Mildred needs space and time to get to know her new surroundings and her new people.
We know for a fact that once she's settled and happy she will be an amazing companion for someone but we need to find that person who is willing to trust what we say and give Mildred the chance to shine.
Could you foster to adopt Mildred?
This means could you take her home and allow her an opportunity to adjust, love you and then stay?
Here's what her previous foster carer says
Mildred is a confident and playful girl, who likes to hunt down her dry biscuits while watching the birds from a sunny window. She has the softest meow, and enjoys sleeping on the bed with you at night, and in a cosy bed of her own by day.
Mildred loves to follow you around and settle into the room you are in. She loves long body strokes and ear rubs. Her affection comes on her terms, so take it when you can.
Mildred prefers all 4 paws on the ground and would rather be beside you than on your lap. She doesn't care too much for wet food, and likes to know when pats are coming, rather than being surprised with affection.
Mildred is not a fan of young children or other cats - she is looking for a home where she doesn't have to share with anyone other than her owners... A strictly indoor home is a must...
Have a think and see if you can help Mildred and if so give us a call on 63889202 to chat more about the possibility xxxx
