About Winter - 9 year old female cat
This beautiful girl is Winter! Winter is a quiet, cuddly 9 year old girl who is much loved by her family - but unfortunately they are moving overseas and Winter has politely declined the invitation to sit in economy class with them. Fair enough Winter!
Winter is fairly reserved and quiet, she spends most of her day sleeping and lying in the sun (goals!) She’s always happy to curl up on your lap or a nice cosy blanket, and will be a fantastic little heater for someone special this winter! She is not too keen on the other cat in her house who is quite social, but may do better around another cat who is quiet and relaxed like her.
Winter can get quite anxious at loud sudden noises such as thunder and noisy children so will disappear under the bed until it has passed. For this reason a home on the quieter side is probably best. That being said, Winter is fine with kids, so she says that a quiet kid or two might be alright with her.
Winter is an inside cat and is very content soaking up some rays through a safely closed window.
Winter is available as an assisted adoption. This means that they are still in care with their family, and Dog Rescue Newcastle is facilitating the adoption. If you are interested in meeting sweet Winter, send an application to DRN, and we will forward it to Winter's family for consideration and to organise a meet and greet.
Winter does not have an adoption fee but her new family should be in a position to keep her well cared for and supplied with some quality treats.
