Summer - 7 year old female cat

This beautiful girl is Summer! Summer is a lively, happy 7 year old girl who is much loved by her family - but unfortunately they are moving overseas and Summer has politely declined the invitation to sit in economy class with them. Fair enough Summer!

Summer is very playful and energetic. She is a social girl who loves her scratching post and toys. She also enjoys a nice sunny spot to sleep and the occasional cat treat. She will surely bring some delightful warmth to the incoming winter!

She has been great around kids so far, and is great with other cats. She hasn't been tested with dogs.

Summer is an inside cat and is very content soaking up some rays through a safely closed window.

Summer (and her sister Winter) are available as assisted adoptions. This means that they are still in care with their family, and Dog Rescue Newcastle is facilitating the adoption. If you are interested in meeting sweet Summer, send an application to DRN, and we will forward it to Summer's family for consideration and to organise a meet and greet.

Summer does not have an adoption fee but her new family should be in a position to keep her well cared for and supplied with some quality treats.
