🔸 Hugo and Mae🔸

Hugo and Mae are a stunning pair of Tuxedos. They are approximately 6 years old and have now been in care for 4 months. We’ve not had a single genuine enquiry. How incredibly disheartening 😿.

They were surrendered to AWL at the beginning of the year as a bonded pair through no fault of their own. the second contact on Maes chip was us- she started her life as a GNR cat. When may was deemed too shy for the shelter environment we agreed to take both Hugo and Mae in to give them the opportunity to stay together.

BUT NO ONE WANTS THEM 😭

How can that be? They are so incredibly beautiful together..

We can’t keep cats in foster eternally. It’s not fair on the cats, or the carers. At some point we will have to seperate them. If you have been considering adopting an adult cat, now is your chance to shine and adopt a bonded pair 🙏.

Mae and Hugo are poles apart. Mae has a tendency to hide away initially but is always receptive to affection, Hugo on the other hand just can't get enough of the cuddles .. Mae has come so far now, is very food orientated and even barges in between the other kitties to eat, so she is not as fearful to be out in the open anymore . Mae will take time to settle in but with Hugo’s confident nature he will help her achieve that in no time.

ideally, Hugo & Mae are to stay together, but can be separated .. Hugo craves constant attention so likely suitable for most home situations, Mae may prefer a quieter home but with equal amounts of love. But together- they have each other’s backs and make the perfect complementary pair.
