About Finnegan
**This pup cannot live with cats or pocket pets please**
Finnegan is looking for a home where he can continue learning about the big wide world. He's been having a blast in foster care but now he's looking for his family!
Finnegan is a Staghound x and will grow into a large breed dog. As a hound breed, Finnegan came to SCAR after finding living with cats a little too fun for him and not at all for the cat.
However, In foster care we found that Finn benefits from having a canine companion and we are hoping those that apply have an adult, sociable and preferably female dog that continue to help him grow into a resiliant adult himself. Please keep in mind that any dog that Finnegan goes home with will need to be present at the adoption meet to make sure they get along. A medium to large breed, tolerant, playful and preferably female dog would be best.
Finnegan loves to run and chase toys, play with his foster sibling and cuddle with his humans. As only a young pup with so much more to learn, we hope his new family will be patient and dedicated to helping Finn be the best dog he can be.
This bouncy boy hopes his new family will include him in all activities, as he just loves following his foster carers around and being with them.
Potential adopters also need to be aware that Finnegan has a low grade heart murmur. This is something that does not require any treatment, and in young animals this may go away over time as they grow.
Finnegan's adoption fee covers 5 classes of puppy school with us here at SCAR and a bag of Large breed Hills puppy food. His adopter's will need to be okay with coming back to our Craigieburn shelter for puppy classes.
