About Coco
*In foster care in Petersham, Sydney*
Coco is full of the joys of life, and can't wait to share them with you! A chatty, spritely girl still in the later stages of kittenhood, she's very self-sufficient and happily makes her own entertainment if you're not available to play or cuddle with her.
Coco's favourite toy is a wand with bells which she carries around the house, and her favourite lookout post is on top of the cat tower, with a nice view of the world out the window. She has a particular interest in shoes, and can often be found with her head inside a boot :)
A big fan of strokes and ear scratches, Coco draws the line at being picked up or held - but once she's comfortable in her environment she loves to lay on your lap, snuggle up beside you on the couch and sleep beside you in bed.
Because she's had some digestive issues in the past, Coco is on a special digestive diet. She's doing well on this and may be able to slowly transition to a regular diet in the future.
Like all Maggie's pets, Coco is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: While I'm independent by nature and happy to do my own thing a lot of the time, I do enjoy the company of my humans too! I guess you could say I have a balanced purrsonality :) I'll definitely be happiest in a household without too much loud noise or frantic activity.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Moderate, I'd say! I like to play in the mornings, which I'm content to do by myself, particularly if I have a ball to chase around or a cardboard box I can jump in and rip up :) During daytime hours I usually find somewhere cosy to nap, and in the evenings I enjoy some interactive playtime with my humans before curling up on a lap or next to you on the couch.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I don't like sudden loud noises or being picked up and held, so a home without young children (under five) would probably suit me best.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Having lived harmoniously with dogs and a feline sibling in the past, I think a home with other friendly pets would be quite nice once we get to know each other!

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
