About Baki
*In foster care in Newtown, Sydney*
Confident and sweet-natured, Baki LOVES making new friends - with dogs and people alike!
This lovely young man adores attention and affection, and will be happiest in a home where both of these things are in abundance. He travels well in the car, is enthusiastic about life in general. Baki is small in stature but he is very strong and can pull on leash and sometimes needs reminding to take the enthusiasm down a notch. He is best suited to a family with a bit of experience with bully breeds or a family with time and patience to invest in channeling his zest for life with a bit of training.
Like all Maggie's pets, Baki is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be full of love from my humans (any maybe another nice dog?), awesome toys to chew on, and soft places to sleep. A secure, decent-sized backyard is a must too, but that's about it. I'm quite easy to please!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Medium, I think! I do like getting out on walks and playing tug 'o war with a big rope in the yard, but I also get tired fairly quickly and am more than happy to trot inside for a nap.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I can sometimes get excited and forget how big and strong I am, so children old enough (12 and up) not to be knocked down or scared when I get a bit too boisterous will definitely be the best match for me!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I really enjoy meeting other dogs when out on my walks, but again, I probably need some help reining in my enthusiasm! And smaller dogs can be a bit intimidated by my hefty build... That said, it's possible I could live harmoniously with a compatible dog after an appropriate introduction.
I haven't met any cats since coming into foster care and my carers believe I would not be suitable to share a home with them.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
