About Vincent, Virginia, Vanessa
Adopt separately or in pairs!
Vincent has been adopted!!!! Vanessa and Virginia are still available for adoption.
These three beautiful tabbies, and their mum Frida, were named after artists because of their stunning markings. They were rescued from rising floodwaters during the Sydney floods. Soaking wet and freezing cold, they had to be dried, warmed and nursed back to health by the team at Shelly’s Place. Now they’re bouncy, healthy and ready to find their forever homes.
Mum Frida is a gorgeous long sleek spotty tabby, with the sort of long legs that gave the catwalk its name. Her beautiful daughter Virginia has the same markings and is on her way to being tall and graceful like her mum.
Vincent loves a cuddle. When you pick him up he snuggles right into you and lets you hear his purr.
Vanessa is the inquisitive one, and follows you around the house “helping” you with everything you do. She also really loves a cuddle, and given the chance, will sleep next to you on your pillow.
They are all happy and confident kittens and will do well in a home by themselves, with another from their family or with a friendly kitten you already have.

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via the JotForm.
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A Property check will take place via a video call (due to Covid restrictions). Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work until the date of adoption. The pet will be rehomed desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
