About Pikachu
Introducing the gorgeous and cheeky Pikachu, who is a 1 year old French Bulldog
Pikachu has a zest for life and just loves fun and playing.
Pikachu has been raised in foster care with a large range of dog breeds to play with and snuggle with.
Pikachu is now looking for her forever home where she can enjoy playing with another dog and getting into some mischief as only a French Bulldog can.
Pikachu is used to different size dogs to play with, (she has been raised with a Neapolitan Mastiff, French mastiff, other French bulldogs, and other breeds of different sizes) Pikachu loves to play tug of war, wrestling and general fun games that dogs can play
Pikachu's ideal home would be with one or two other dogs only but dogs that also want to play wrestle and run and have fun.
Pikachu also does a good cuddle on the couch and one of her favorite pastime's at night is to snuggle into her human and have a good sleep on the couch while they watch tv.
Pikachu can be a little nervous around people when she meets them but once she is comfortable good luck putting her back in the box - be prepared for a lifetime of laughs, fun and a bit of heading shaking at her from time to time.
Pikachu has a awesome little quirk that if you call her name in a high voice and call her Pika, Pika, Pika the bum wags that come from will certainly put a smile on your face for the day - she has also been known to use that little quirk at times when she has been the victim of an exploding pillow or soft toy (she has only just turned one so fun was to be had!)
Pikachu is currently living with a 8 year old and loves to join him on the bed when he goes to sleep - she is a great bedtime companion and would love to continue living a life where she can sleep on the bed if she wants (she can jump up on the bed by herself but does prefer stairs or to be picked up with a kiss on the forehead)
Pikachu is toilet trained
Pikachu loves to have the best of both worlds - full access to inside but access to outside as well - Pikachu mastered the doggy door very early in life.
Pikachu can get very very excited at dinner time and will be very excited each meal, however she will also want to check everyone's dinner bowl / plate before she eats her own - this is something we working on but as she gets so excited and does her wiggle it can be a distraction
So if your looking for a furbaby that will make you laugh, smile and give the best cuddles (when she wants) please send thru an adoption application
** Please note applications will close Wednesday 11th May 2022 at 5.30pm

Adoption details
Paw Prints Canine Rescue is a non for profit dog rescue located in Southeast Queensland.
All our dogs leave our care with full vet work (up-to-date vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, heart worm and intestinal wormed and flea treated).
Please note - They will not leave for their new homes until they are 12 weeks of age and have been desexed, micro-chipped and vaccinated up to date.
Please note - we are not a pound or have kennels - all our dogs stay in foster carers homes and therefore dogs are not able to be simply viewed - only approved applicants will meet the dogs.
Please Note: We do not hold any animals so please only apply if you are ready to adopt now
Please note - We don't take calls on adoption enquiries - an application must be completed
We can also be found at https://www.facebook.com/pawprintscanine/
Complete the following adoption enquiry link

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 10 day trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby via email including the transfer of microchip form.
