About Chico
Hi! My name is Chico. I’m an 8 month old Koolie x Border Collie boy and I’m absolutely gorgeous if I do say so myself.
I’m a typical busy pup and I love to run, stalk, chase, herd, sniff and roll. I’m a high energy boy but have been learning where to find my off switch in foster care.
I have my basic training under way, I can sit and drop, I’m toilet trained, and I’m learning to walk well on lead. I’m also learning to use a crate, as well as building up an impressive list of tricks.
I love to chase after other dogs (and sometimes humans if they’re moving fast enough!) but I do come back to check in on my humans. I’m learning how to play with other dogs, and am typically submissive in my interactions.
I would make an excellent home for an experienced working breed owner. My drive and intelligence would make me the perfect active companion, but I’d also thrive in a dog sports home or someone with a keen interest in dog training and behaviour. I’m an exceptionally clever, driven dog who in the right hands would make the perfect training partner, exercise buddy, and couch snuggler.

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. A meet and greet can be arranged if both parties wish to proceed, and we also offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
