About Hannah and Henry
Are you wanting a pair of furbabies that will put a smile on your face with their antics and joy for life?
Introducing these two cheeky happy loving furbabies looking for their furever home together - they are bonded and will only be adopted together.
Henry is a 5 years and 7 months old Shih Tzu and Hannah is a 4 years and 9 months old Shih Tzu.
Because they are small white fluffy dogs they do like to be ‘those ones’ that means they would prefer someone who is home more often than not, works for home, is retired – you get the picture they are lap dogs! (but come on who's surprised?)
Well Henry is more of a lap dog and Hannah is a lets check 'this thing' out type of girl.
Henry is slow to warm to people but once he is happy and comfortable he will show you his amazing playful personality
Hannah well lets just say she was 'out of the box' within a few days showing us her sass and cheeky fun playing nature. Hannah loves to play with other dogs and has been known to be the instigator when starting the wrestle play at night time (never mind the dog is 20 kgs heavier then her!)
Both Henry and Hannah are dog friendly - Hannah loves having friends to play with and lead astray all while doing with the cutest look on her face.
Henry is not as keen on lots of dogs being in his face but will be known to have a play - he loves doing tug-of-war with his humans.
Both Henry and Hannah are happy and loving dogs that are easy to look after, Henry will always keep a watch over Hannah and ensure that she is okay.
Both babies are company for each other and both love cuddles and if you have steps to your bed they will gladly share your bed with you.
We are currently in a foster home with a 8 year old boy and we love hanging out with him while he watches movies on the couch or on the bed!
Both babies love exploring outside in the yard and going for walks (Hannah is not a fan on the lead but will happily wander with you if your walking.
Both Henry and Hannah will give a bark when you come home and you will get greeted with a happy dance.
Both furbabies are great with their food bowls and eating and they have had their teeth cleaned while in care - Hannah certainly knows how to flash those teeth to get what she wants.
Both are so full of love and get compliments from EVERYONE who meets them - the cute faces will have you falling in no time us - despite Hannah having a cheeky personality - both are beautiful and very well behaved.
They are not cat tested but we don't believe would show any interest in them if they lived together (except Hannah maybe to play).
They both have coats that do require grooming so please keep this in mind when applying as it’s an ongoing expense – this is something that is not negotiable unless you want two tangled woolly sheep in your home!
Both Hannah and Henry love going for a car ride - they will happily sit in the car with you - air conditioning blowing in their hair, and some good tunes on!
They are both toilet trained
If you are looking for two gentle and affectionate companions and can offer a warm home, comfortable beds and plenty of love then please send through an adoption application. Henry and Hannah are waiting!

Complete the following adoption enquiry link

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 2 week trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 2 week trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby via email including the transfer of microchip form.
