About Ari ~ 6mo Cattle Dog X (On Trial 21/5/2022)
Ari is a 6 month old, super sweet Cattle Dog X. If her adorable little face isn’t enough to win you over, her placid nature certainly will. Ari is an absolute sweetheart who will follow your every move around the house and wants to make sure she isn’t missing out on any of the fun! This gorgeous girl is about medium size and ready for all the cuddles and loving she deserves.
Ari is enjoying playing with her foster siblings all day long and is quite happy lounging around until her foster humans get home from work. She loves lapping up all the attention and cuddles in the big human bed. Ari is a very playful and curious pup who is adjusting very well to the spoilt lifestyle.
Ari is still adjusting to being around humans and takes a little bit of time to trust completely. Ari will need a loving and understanding home to help develop her trust and confidence, although she is making super fast progress on this path already!
Ari has settled in to indoor living very quick and understands she needs to go potty outside! Ari is responsive to her name although is still learning. She is also starting to learn basic training commands which are a work in progress and walking on the lead.
While she loves to play with other dogs, her anxiety and inexperience with other dogs can cause her a lot of worry initially so will need to be slowly socialised to ensure she doesn’t get too frightened. Any other dogs in the household need to be calm and good with nervous dogs although once she is comfortable she loves some rough play with her pals!
Ari will need a home with secure fencing 5-6ft colourbond or similar with no small holes or gaps. She will not suit farm or rural fencing.
She will need a home that can provide attention – preferably with another calm doggy as a leader and role model. She will also need regular exercise and training due to the nature of her breed. With a commitment to her ongoing training and work on her anxieties she will absolutely thrive.
Ari will live for around 10-15years, and it is very important that her new family have the commitment to dedicate this time to her. Ari is a lifelong commitment, and requires a dedicated knowledgeable home to help her thrive. First time dog owners will not suit this girl as she requires a little more work to be that perfect doggo. Cattle dog experience is preferrable, with the ongoing commitment to her training and development. Please no apartments or courtyard settings as this is a working breed dog with an active personality.
Ari is in foster care in Rutherford, NSW. Ari’s adoption fee includes all up to date vet work. She is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms and microchipped. Ari’s adoption fee is $600. For more information please contact chloe_connor1@hotmail.com
