About Max ~ 11mo Labrador X(On Trial 26/6/22)
Meet Max an 11 month old Labrador X, who is a lover of everyone he meets.
Max (like any typical Labrador) loves water, whether it be the beach, a muddy puddle or the hose! He is a great swimmer and loves his walks so he would suit a new home where his new owners love exercise! Max is a puller (and very strong at it!), therefore we recommend to use a Halti collar which provides him greater consistency and guidance on his walks. He loves to meet and greet every person and dog that he sees and has shown no aggression to others.
He can be a little too playful with younger kids and doesn’t necessarily know his size, so if his new potential family has young kids they will need to be confident in providing commands to Max (under supervision of course!). Max knows how to sit on command and can come when called but only if a treat is involved! He is very food orientated and with the correct guidance his training will and can go a long way which we hope his new owners can provide.
Max’s forever home will need to be one where he has an active lifestyle, not one where he will be left in the yard with another dog. He would love to be welcomed inside and be around his family. He has a clean bill of health so the next step is looking for new owners that would love and give him all the attention he deserves like he would do for them!
Max is in foster care in Newcastle NSW, adoption to interstate applicants will be considered on a case by case basis. Max’s adoption fee is $800 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms and microchipped. If you are interested in adopting Max please fill out an adoption form here: https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt or email his carer Jasmine at drn.jasmine@gmail.com should you have any further questions. Get in quick though as we have no doubt Max will find his forever home in an instant!
PLEASE NOTE: When applying for our dogs and puppies, please ensure to list the name of the dog you wish to adopt. Please DO NOT just list the reference number or microchip number as this will delay your application reaching the correct foster carer.
Due to the extremely high number of applications we anticipate receiving for Max, his foster carer is unable to provide individual feedback should your application not proceed to the next step.
