About Johnnie & Sid
MEET JOHNNIE & HER BROTHER SID! Yes we are almost identical! Sid (larger white blaze on nose) and Johnnie (smaller white blaze on nose) are both short haired tabby kittens that were trapped wild and have since been rescued , vet worked and rehabilitated! They are now happy healthy babies and ready for their home, hopefully together!
JOHNNIE - 956000014846641
Johnnie is a petite, approximately 6-month-old female kitten. Don’t be fooled by her size. Johnnie is a confident, bold young lady!
Although Johnnie has buckets of energy and curiosity and loves to run about and play for hours on end, she also loves her naps and sleeps deeply while her batteries recharge, ready to play again!
She has developed into a cuddle-bug and purrs at full volume! Johnnie adores being close to humans and will sit on your knee but even better, she would prefer to sit on your chest if you allow her.
Johnnie has experience of other kittens through living with her brother and four other foster kittens, all of whom she bosses around!
Johnnie has no experience of dogs, so a slow introduction to a cat-friendly dog would be necessary.
Johnnie would be so happy to sleep in bed with her humans. She is up for adoption along with her brother Sid, who she loves very much, if you are interested in two kittens we would LOVE for these 2 bestfriends to stay together.
In short, Johnnie is a gorgeous, affectionate kitten with lots of character! She will make a wonderful companion to a lucky family.
SID not-so-vicious - 956000014832800
Sid is an approximately 6-month-old male kitten.
Sid is a little more reserved than his sister Johnnie but is curious about all things and loves to know what humans are up to. Don’t lean over for too long, as Sid will quickly jump up and climb to your shoulders to see what you are up to!
He’s a very playful and energetic boy who loves to run across rooms at high speed, just because he can! Sid adores exploring his surrounds and likes to know everything that is going on.
Sid is a cuddle-bug and loves to sit on human knees. He also likes a nice tummy tickle and pats whenever they are offered.
Sid has experience of other kittens through living with his sister and four other foster kittens. Sid has no experience of dogs, so a slow introduction with a cat-friendly dog would be necessary. Sid would also be happy to sleep in bed with humans.
If you adopt these 2 beautiful twins, we know you wont regret it! They will provide you with years of unconditional love and fun.
- Johnnie & Sid are INDOOR ONLY for life, our rescue strongly believes and advocates for safe cats, safe wildlife, we do encourage safe outdoor enclosures also! Please only apply for them if this is suitable for your home.
Medical notes
Johnnie & Sid are both desexed, microchipped, vaccinated x2 and up to date with flea and worm treatment.
We highly advocate for premium quality food for our growing young kittens such as royal canin, hills science diet, advance, blackhawk, leaps and bounds.
Adoption details
Thank you for your interest in a rescue cat! They can make the most wonderful friends and family members.
Our rescue cats have varied histories and stories and as such they each require a different home environment, we ask prospective adopters a series of questions aimed at making the perfect match so please dont be offended when asked questions. We do not adopt to a first in first serve basis and only adopt to the most suitable home possible. If you are outside Ballarat we ask that you make time to have a 30 minute video-chat with us and the kitty you are interested in so we can get to know you a little better and you can see the kitty in its home environment before coming up to Ballarat to adopt, if you are local then we hold a meet and greet at the foster home of the kitty. We only offer video chats and meet and greets to the most suitable homes.
All of our cats at Cat Lovers Ballarat are rehomed as strictly INDOOR ONLY cats and we ask that all prospective adopters only apply if they are capable and comfortable with this.
Please have patience with us as we go through all applications and make our decisions to move onto phase 2 and offer meet and greets, this can take days and sometimes a week to go through, you will be contacted whether you are successful or not.
Thank you again for your interest in one of our rescue cats!
