Pumba is a gentle soul and he loves being close to people and getting lots of cuddles. While he hasn't met any young kids since being in care, his carer thinks he'd be wonderful with them due to his kind personality.
Pumba is a medium sized dog and around the height of a Kelpie. We don't see an awful lot of Jack Russell in him but that is what his notes say! What we do know about Pumba is that he is a clever boy who wants to please, and knows commands such as sit, come, get down, inside and out. He gets on great with other dogs and is fully toilet trained. He sleeps perfectly indoors overnight with no trouble at all. His carer describes him as a total sweetheart who loves to snuggle up with you.... so with that endorsement we believe Pumba is ready to grace pretty much any home that wants a loving companion dog to spend time with and give lots of attention to.
Pumba likes his daily walks and will need a good level of exercise most days to keep him happy and healthy. Being so people-focused he would prefer a home where he has the company of his people for a lot of the time. He is untested with cats but he does have a bit of a habit of chasing the vacuum cleaner!
So if you are looking for a beautiful dog to join either a family home, you are a single or couple wanting to add a furrmily member, whether you have another dog who wants a play buddy or just looking at your first pooch, adorable Pumba should fit right in and make a fantastic addition.
