Xena

Xena or Zaza as we affectionately call her is a stunning shar-pei that’s looking for her forever home in Melbourne ❤️

She is extremely sweet and absolutely adores humans, she can’t get enough of them. Xena is a total sucker for treats, pats and she’s very quick to fall in love and become part of your family.

Xena was dominant over her sister so we’re seeking an only dog home for her. She can be reactive on walks, correction chain and sharp “no” is recommend as part of her ongoing training. She is VERY eager to please her owners and once she’s bonded with you she does listen and do exactly what you want. Treats and happy tone praise work exceptionally well with Xena.

Xena is NOT a dog that can go off lead, she’s dog selective and has been known to retaliate if a dog is dominating her. Caution must be used always with Xena in the world presence of other dogs.

Xena is a very active girl, she would love an active family that involves her in everything!!! She can go on long walks and has plenty of stamina. Xena would love to explore the world with you. You MUST have a backyard for Xena, she is toilet trained and gets extremely stressed if she cannot go outside to the bathroom. She’s loves being indoor/outdoor but her outdoor space is equally as important as her indoor space.

She’s also a great traveller in the car and will happily nap in the front seat next to you, that’s her absolute favourite spot. Xena is a little pulley on the lead but we’re working to correct that and she’s a fast learner. She just needs some positive reinforcement when she starts her walks to get into good habits. She’s a medium-sized girl and weighs around 17kg. Very easy to control.

Xena has shown to be fine with cats. It is very important she goes to a dog experienced home 🏡♥️

She’s an extremely snuggly girl and loves to curl up with her foster mama. She’s a very good girl inside the house and loves being in the company of her family. She’s an extremely loyal girl with so much love to give 🥰
