About Maverick
Maverick is a loveable, playful pup.
He loves laying in the sun, chasing his toys around the yard, and lots of cuddles.
Maverick needs a confident and playful dog to help guide him. He has no sense of boundaries and will need someone who can continue his training with this. He is also learning not to jump on people unless he is asked to.
He is scared of strangers and will need to have time to sniff them before he accepts any pats from them. Once he know you are okay, he becomes your bff!
He is amazing with walking on a lead. He does not like to travel in the car, he gets scared and drools a lot. He won't go in the car voluntarily but once in there, he will be quite, yet scared.
Maverick loves the company of "his" people and if he had it his way he would stay by your side all day long. Maverick has been crate trained and will sleep in his crate when he knows its time for bed, or if he just wants to rest. That is is safe space and will not share it with other dogs.
He must go to a home where there is :
-No kids under 12 years old
-Someone who will continue his training and be stern with him, correcting bad behavior
-Someone who understands the Shar Pei breed or has done plenty of research

Due to an anticipated high volume of applications the adoption process is outlined below:
1. You must complete our Adoption Application Form by following the link to our website: https://www.all4pawsdogrescue.com.au/forms.html NOT THE PET RESCUE ENQUIRY BUTTON
2. Include as much information as possible and it is never a case of "first in best dressed" when we are choosing the most appropriate new home. Matching an animal with a family is based on lifestyle, family members, attitudes to pet ownership and the personality of the pet.
3. Due to the number of applications we receive all correspondence is through email and if your application is short listed we will either call you to discuss it further and possible invite you to a meet and greet.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
