Riponlee

This 12 month old, 37 kg puppy has a loving, kind, sweet temperament.

He gets hopelessly excited to see you. Once he calms he is quiet and soft; gentle and kind. He is always happy; he is always smiling. He has a happy twinkle in his eyes. He’s tall and he’s jumpy, it’s his excitement level. He just loves to be loved.

Riponlee is chipped as a Great Dane cross. To me he’s a tall brindle Husky. He is roughly 40 kgs. When he stands on his rear legs he would be roughly six foot tall.

Riponlee will have to be heavily supervised in regards to toilet training when he is first settling in. He hides it under his blanket in his kennel here.

Riponlee loves cows hoofs. He really enjoys lying on a bed in the sun chewing on one. He also plays and fetches them by himself, throwing the hoof up in the air and catching it repeatedly. Riponlee loves doing zoomies and it’s an absolute delight to watch.

Riponlee knows and understands and generally responds to different commands - back, sit, come, leave, ahah, give, up, down, inside outside. He loves to hear the words Good Boy; his absolute favourite! He’s mastered the art of leaving his food. We’ve taught him to wait even if we have walked a few steps away, his eye is on your hand.

This big fella would definitely benefit from ongoing dog training and socialisation classes. He’s been taught a few things during his first year of life. He is very smart and overflowing with potential.

Like any good Husky he vocalises at you. He could easily be taught to speak on command, even be taught different words too.

He is very, very jumpy. But it’s a gentle jump. He is just overwhelmed with happiness to know it’s his turn to have you to himself. He does spins of over 360’ when he first greets you.

This boy is just beautiful, he has a precious soul and deserves only the best of homes.
