About Broozer
Introducing Broozer!
Broozer came into our shelter as a stray after being found tied up to a fence. Unfortunately, his microchip was not on any registry so we couldn’t get in contact with his owners. Broozer is now looking for his new forever home where he can get all the love he deserves.
Broozer is a big boy! He looks like a Rottweiler x Lab or Mastiff mix, and we have approximated his age to be about 1.5-2 years old. He is basically still a puppy and seems to lack a lot of training. For this reason ongoing training is essential for his new owners. He is very boisterous so would be better with older, confident children who won’t be scared of his size and behaviour.
Broozer seems to be playful with other dogs but also a little unsure of how to play with them properly. Socialisation will also be needed for him with other dogs to make sure he is the best boy he can be.
Broozer seems uninterested in cats and potentially a little unsure and scared of them. However, since we only let them interact through a barrier, we can’t be sure what he will be like if he were to meet them face to face or see them running around.
Broozer does seem a little unsure of loud noises and voices and cowers a little, so he will need an owner who can go slow with him with his training and be gentle and calm, but also be firm with him as he can be a little stubborn sometimes. He loves food so this will be beneficial in working with him and training him.
Broozer’s adoption fee is $450 and includes his desexing, vaccinations and lifetime registration. Broozer is also regularly treated for flea and worms.
If you think you can give Broozer the home and love he deserves, please email us at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com and speak to one of our friendly staff.
Broozer is located in East Maitland.
He’ll be over the moon to meet you!

Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272 to make an appointment and ask further questions.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the foster carers home or at a convenient location.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
