About Beth
Introducing Beth!
Beth came to our facility as an un-microchipped stray and unfortunately no one came looking for her and we had no success tracking down her owners. Beth is an approximately 10 month old Labrador x and she is now ready to find her forever family.
Being such a young dog, Beth is very active and excitable. She doesn’t seem to understand the concept of “relaxing” or “calm”. She will need an owner who is willing to put in the work to give her the training she seems to have missed out on for the first 10 months of her life. She will sit for treats and focus for a minute, but then she is off bouncing around and trying to play non-stop.
Beth seems to love other dogs! She jumps around playfully trying to encourage them to interact with her. This may be too much for some dogs, so if you have canine companion currently in the family, please make sure you bring them along with you to meet her to ensure everyone gets along before heading home together.
Beth seems to be a bit unsure of cats but showed no aggression towards them. She seemed to potentially want to play with them, however since we only let them interact through a barrier, we can’t be sure what she will be like if she were to meet them face to face or see them running around.
Beth will need an active family who can take her on long walks to use up some of her energy. She doesn’t seem to be too interested in toys here at the shelter, but it’s possible she has never had any to play with before and may take some more time for her to understand the concept of toys.
Beth’s adoption fee is $600 and includes her desexing, vaccinations and lifetime registration. Beth is also regularly treated for flea and worms.
If you think Beth sounds like the dog for you, please email us at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com and speak to one of our friendly staff.
Beth is located at East Maitland.
Beth will be so excited to meet you.

Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272 to make an appointment and ask further questions.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the foster carers home or at a convenient location.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
