Odin is...plain & simple...a boxer goof ball!!!
He has so many little personality quirks which endear him to his humans, from the way he tucks his paws under his chin when he sleeps, to asking for a handshake to say sorry if he has been naughty. Then there is his curly tail. That is just how it is, it does not go straight, even when he is sleeping.

While Odin is a tough and boisterous boy, his temperament is very gentle.
Odin is fetch obsessed. Tennis balls have a habit of exploding on him, so tough, dog specific balls are best. This clever boy also likes to (purposely) ‘hide’ his ball in inaccessible places (drop inside crates, push under furniture, between fence panels, etc etc) and make a puzzle of getting it out. It is not unusual for him to work away at trying to solve a puzzle for up to an hour. He loves any toy and is learning to play tug-o-war.

Odin appears to be highly intelligent and able to learn new commands and tricks very quickly. He is a high energy boy and needs a lot of space. Your yard will need at least 6 foot fencing as Odin will go to any lengths to get to his human. He has even learned how to open gate latches!

Unfortunately, Odin definitely does NOT like cats, so those are a no go. He has had mixed success with other dogs so you would need to be prepared for a meet and greet if you already have a dog.

Odin is demonstrating considerable separation anxiety. He can be so anxious to get to his human that he is a serious risk of injury to himself while trying to get to them. Odin will want to be with you EVERY MINUTE of the day.. yes when you are in the loo, yes when you are in the shower, EVERY MINUTE. Body contact through the night is essential. If left alone to long, Odin’s anxiety, combined with his intelligence and energy can become a little destructive. For this reason we are seeking a person who is home all day and wants an active companion who will check in regularly. Odin’s perfect match is a human who wants a shadow.
