About Puffin Yeager
TO APPLY FOR ADOPTION PLEASE SEND IN APPLICATION FORM AVAILABLE BELOW:
https://www.victoriandogrescue.org.au/about-vicdrg/adoption-and-foster-application-forms.html
Victorian Dog Rescue has a six-week full refund policy and a lifetime takeback guarantee that includes 50 per cent of the adoption fee refunded.
Please note: Puffin will be rehomed with her sister Pebbles Yeager, or with another cat for company.
Puffin is an inquisitive young cat with energy to burn and is an absolute delight to have around. When you pick her up for cuddles she purrs like a little motor boat. This girl loves, and we mean LOVES, to climb. Her cat tower is her best friend and she can always be found practising her parlour moves on it like the little ninja she is. She can often be seen doing zoomies around the house following by leaping and hanging off the top of the cat tree. She's a great climber.
Puffin doesn't mind getting her feet wet with her sister Pebbles. The two girls wait for their carer to turn on the shower so they can hop in and run around in there. Puffin loves to carry little furry toys around and will guard them along with her food if one of her foster cat friends tries to take them from her. Her little paws spread out to protect her treasures and she lets out low, rumbling growls to ward off the others. It’s quite hilarious to watch.
All of this jumping can take quite a lot out of a cat, so at the end of a long hard day of climbing, Puffin turns into a super smoochy lap cat – desperate for the warmth, pats and belly rubs from her carer.
Unafraid of anything, Puffin is a fantastic all rounder; loves people, doesn’t shy away from strangers, and loves her siblings. Puffin absolutely adores her sister Pebbles, and therefore would love to be rehomed with her, or at least with another cat she can play with. Currently we feel she would suit a family with older children.
Puffin would not suit a home where she is left alone for many hours a day. Someone needs to be around to entertain and supervise her sweet little antics.
If Puffin’s sweet nature, combined with her bursts of energetic playfulness, sound like the perfect mix for you, don’t hesitate to get in contact!

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer free assistance for six weeks for any issues, a lifetime takeback policy with full refund of the adoption fee, and will always be available to offer advice.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.

We look forward to receiving your application.
