About Chia and Chickpea
*In foster care in Chippendale, Sydney*
Chia and Chickpea are a sweet, friendly pair on the lookout for their fabulous forever home!
Chickpea is extremely confident and sociable, with a penchant for playtime, delicious food and meeting new people. Chia can be a bit shy at first, but once he's warmed up to you he loves to cuddle and be held - and he adores belly rubs :)
Like all Maggie's pets, Chia and Chickpea are microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

OUR IDEAL HOME: ... will be with a loving person, couple or family with no kids/older kids who will spend lots of time hanging out with us. We're very affectionate and sweet! - though Chia may take a little longer to settle in.
OUR ENERGY LEVEL: ... is a mixed bag! Chickpea is super curious and active, spending his time climbing up high and exploring his surroundings. Chia follows his brother around sometimes, at other times choosing to chill out doing his own thing. We do love a rambunctious play together, before falling asleep in a snuggly pile.
OUR SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: We'd be suited best to a family home where all children are over the age of 8. Chia can be a bit shy and may take some time to get to know you. But once we're comfortable, we both love to play and be close to our special humans!
OUR SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: We're very bonded to each other, but we've never really met any other pets so it's hard to say!

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
