Hi there! My name is Jolie, but my foster mum likes to refer to me as “Wiggle Bum” because I’m such a happy girl and am always wagging my tail.

I’m quite an independent girl, quite happy with my own company, although I do also love my humans. A family with someone home more often than not would be just perfect for me. I love to follow my people around and just hang out with them, and I will put myself to bed at night.

I don’t have any separation anxiety and I’m not an escape artist so 4-5 ft fencing will suit.

I haven’t met any cats while I’ve been in foster care so I think it would be safer to not have one of them in my forever home. I also haven’t had any opportunities to meet other dogs due to living in a rural area so I think it would be better for me to be your one and only.

I’m super smart and enjoy playing tug-of-war, so older kids who can play with me and won’t mind me giving them lots of kisses, would be the best. I love belly rubs and don’t mind some tough chew toys that I can try and pull apart.

I really enjoy going for walks and I’m getting much better walking on my lead. I will need a family who is happy to continue with my training. Due to rural living, I will need someone who will be patient with me while I learn to get used to living in a more suburban area. I love playing the in the creek so swimming/playing in the water is also a favourite for me.
