About Mishka
Mishka is one of the most loving and gentle dogs I’ve ever met and would suit just about any type of household though would better suit someone who works hybrid or is home most of the time. Mishka is a medium sized dog, slightly smaller than the usual husky size
Her current weight is only 23 kilos so as we said a smaller size girl
PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM AND JUNK FOLDERS FOR YOUR APPLICATION ONCE YOU HAVE SENT YOUR ENQUIRY
Miska comes with one of our adoption packs including Harness . Lead and Seat Belt safety
While she doesn’t need a gigantic yard, you will need to have 6ft fencing that is dig proof as this is an absolute must as she will dig her way to freedom if she becomes bore while left alone and locked out of the house She also requires access to the inside of your home when you aren’t there - this will stop her from trying to escape.and she has not been destructive at all in the home while we have left her to go to work .
Toileting
She is fully toilet and house trained
Commands/training
Mishka appears to have had some training and is a very well behaved dog, though (again) true to breed she will prove to be very stubborn when she wants to be.
Bedtime
She has her foster mum wrapped around her little paws and has found her way onto the human bed to sleep each night . She sleeps through the night and if allowed to sleep on the bed with her furever family, will stick to a small section out of your way
Exercise/games
Daily walks are an absolute must for this girl, but having a double coat means the hotter months affect her energy levels.
Her furever home will need to be committed to walking her every single day, without fail. She will also benefit from regular (if not daily) visits to the dog park as she absolutely loves to play with other dogs.
She doesn’t really play with toys and isn’t interested in playing fetch, which means you won’t have to spend an arm and a leg on toys to keep her occupied.
She also doesn’t require a big yard, as she would rather be wherever you are, so must be allowed to be an indoor dog.
People
Mishka will say hello to every dog and person she comes across, she is very confident and her good looks will draw a crowd. She LOVES any attention she gets from strangers and is very gentle around small children, so I don’t think she will be a problem in any household type, whether you have children or not.
Other animals
She hasn’t been tested with other animals, though has tried run towards cats and birds while out walking. I think this isn’t to chase, but an attempt to say hello, like she does to people and other dogs.
Grooming
Like any double or triple coated breed, she sheds fur like it’s going out of fashion. You will need to accept that you will likely have a hard time keeping the shedding fur under control and commit to brushing her at least once a week.
She is not bothered by the brush whatsoever and will just lay there while you brush out her fur.
In fact, most things don’t really seem to bother her, she isn’t scared of thunder storms or the hair dryer, so seems to have been in a household with lots of noises and being pampered/groomed regularly in the past.
Food:
Mishka is quite a picky eater and will turn her nose up to anything she doesn’t like. We have made some progress since she has come into our care and she is currently eating one small tin of Optimum wet food (either lamb or chicken) and 1.5 cups of semi moist dry feed each day
Adoption requirements
-6ft dig proof fencing

-can be adult only or children of any age household
