Come and Meet Grommet
What a little treasure Grommet is. Grommet was impounded a couple of times and each time we saw him his eyes were becoming more troublesome for him. He was born with turned in eye lids which is a very painful and serious condition if left untreated. And it was.
Grommet was left in the pound last time - his eyes were a disaster. His eyelashes had rubbed on his eyes had caused painful ulcers and Grommet could hardly see.
A big thanks to Swan Valley Vets who attend to Grommet's operation very swiftly to alleviate the condition. He is now almost fully recovered: the ulcers have healed and fortunately for Grommet he has made a complete recovery.
Grommet is only a small-ish dog for his type of breed and he is having a birthday this Saturday 30 - he will be turning one! He is fully grown - so will not get bigger than he already is.
Grommet is a HUGE cuddle bunny. He is a friendly self assured little fellow and will make a wonderful companion for some lucky family or home.

Medical notes
All our Celebrities are wormed, flea treated on admission to the program. They are also vaccinated and micro chipped. They are also sterilized or Adoption fees include a voucher for sterilization at our supporting vets if they are not already done.
Grommet has recovered from his recent sterilization so he is ready for his new adventure!! He still has a few dissolvable stitches from his eye surgery but they will fall out in time. There are no ongoing effects from the surgery.
