Sergio is a highly active, clever and sometimes cheeky Border Collie cross. He absolutely adores the humans around him and loves joining in with activities around the home.

He requires daily exercise and games to keep his mind busy! Tug of war and playing fetch in the backyard are his go to activities. Whilst he likes chewing his toys he hasn’t shown an interest in chewing anything around the home. Sergio is relatively well toilet trained.

Despite his age, he’s a big puppy and still learning his manners around humans. Often this is pushing past/through people getting through doors and being bouncy when meeting new people. He doesn’t quite know his strength/size and so he is best suited to teenagers and bigger.

Sergio has a tendency to resource guard and can respond badly to other dogs. He may improve with time and exposure but this isn’t guaranteed. For now I would say he should be an only dog.

Sergio’s been a fast learner with his basic commands whilst in foster care. He will do well with ongoing training. He’s the sweetest boy who would love to become a part of your family.
