Sunny ~ 8mo Kelpie X Jack Russell(Rev.Apps 7/5/22)

Clever and cuddly, 8 month old Sunny the male Kelpie x Jack Russell is looking to light up your life.

Sunny is playful, affectionate and like any kelpie has energy to burn. He is a quick learner who is picking up many ques like sit, stay, down , roll-over, crate training and waiting for his meal. Just as easily as picking up good habits, a clever kelpie x like Sunny can also pick up not so good habits, so we are looking for a home where the owner has the time and dedication to meeting his stimulation needs and continues with his already successful training.

He is looking for an active family or individual who will include him in outings, daily exercise as well as end of day snuggles on the couch. Sunny hasn't had a lot of onlead experience so will need help gaining his confidence in the right way. He is very eager to please and will adhere to most requests with the offer of a treat.

Sunny is currently living with 4 and 7 year old children as well as a senior dog who he is very respectful of but would benefit more from a younger playmate to match his energy.
Homes that would not suit Sunny are ones where he would be left alone for long periods of time or not allowed inside to be part of the family, unsecured low fencing, those with a lack of understanding of Kelpie and Jack Russell traits and those that could not forgive an unattended shoe being chewed( He is still a puppy after all).

Sweet Sunny is not tested with cats or pocket pets.

Sunny is in foster care in Salamander Bay NSW. Sunny's adoption fee is $600 which includes all up to date vet work. This includes desexing, vaccination, treated for fleas and worms and microchipping.
