About Bindi
Meet Bindi!
Bindi is a female Staghound x who is approx 2 years old.
This sweet girl came into care and was pretty unsure of everyone and everything but has warmed up to the team here. She is a loving and affectionate girl who needs time to settle and know she's safe.
Bindi has grown up around other animals and has spent most of her life outside. She has been exposed to a cat in her previous home and did bark at it but seems otherwise ok with other dogs. Note: Bindi is not suitable for a home with small animals/dogs.
Bindi does have some basic training and will sit, sit before eating, knows her name and travels well in a car even though shes not had much travelling experiences.. She walks well on a lead with a little pulling at the start but settles in to the walk quickly.
Bindi will need a secure yard as she has been known to jump rural fencing and gates.
Bindi would best suit a home/family with children over the age of 10 (she has been around children of this age with no issues).
Bindi has been vet checked, desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, worm and flea treated.
Please fill in an adoption application if Bindi sounds like your new best friend!
Medical notes
Bindi passed her medical examination
Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
