Muffin

I know what muffins are! My hooman makes the best ones - double choc chip. I bet they taste so yummy and sweet (if I was allowed to eat that kind of thing!). Anyways, who needs those kinds of muffins (minute on the lips forever on the hips!) when you can have a sweet Muffin like me? If you could eat me, I'd taste like ginger honey and caramel!

They say the fur maketh the girl and I do have the thickest, softest, silkiest coat you could imagine. Perfect for patting me, preening me and making a fuss over me - if that's okay with you. But don't take that to mean I'm high maintenance. The opposite in fact. I'm softly spoken and only meow occasionally. You could say I'm as quiet as a mouse??? I'll be ready to greet you at the door when you come home and I hope you don't mind, but I just love following my favourite hoomans around. Will you let me sleep on the end of your bed, or slink under the cover? I won't take up much room - promise!

I'm partial to the odd kids' bedtime story - so you can take that to mean I'm used to kids, but I do prefer the company of adults most of the time. Dogs not so much but I'm ok around the older ones, the quiet ones. Other cats? No, not for me thanks. I can be a little timid around strangers too and lots of loud noises, so it might take a little time for me to come out of my shell, but I will be your soft, reliable and floofy companion forever if you bring me into your loving home! Muffin is a healthy female cat who prefers Hills Science Diet wet and dry food. She has been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped (microchip #956000012258065, source #RE101165). She is available for adoption right now!

To adopt from us you'll be required to have minimum an online meet & greet, a remote house check, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Our animals are fully vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being advertised. They are evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and any known issues are communicated. NOT NEGOTIABLE CONDITIONS: indoor only/restrained to property & must be fed raw or vet prescription wet food.
We will communicate through every step of the process to ensure that the experience is excellent and your feline companion is the right fit. Read the contract for T&Cs for returns.
You must have residency in Australia to adopt from Cat People of Melbourne. If you are visiting or on a visa, talk to us about fostering instead!
