Ottis

Hello! I'm Ottis! My carers say I'm a bit of a poser! I'm a good boy who is super gentle with people although I do sometimes jump up to say hello because I get excited to see you. I'm friendly even with children and I love other dogs, especially having a run around and play. I would like a home with another dog as a friend, but would also be okay as your only canine buddy.

I enjoy going out for a walk but I don't need long runs... they make me a little tired. I can get a little defensive on lead but generally I'm good. I have good recall when off lead and I also like to show you how clever I am: I can sit, lay down and shake a paw on command.

I am not food defensive but I sure do love my food, that's for sure! I'm not a barker, so being a guard dog is out of the question.

In my old life I had never been inside the house, so I am used to being mainly outdoors as long as I have a warm kennel and soft bedding. I do like to know I can come indoors sometimes though, and I really like to know my human family members are close by.

I'm a pretty easy kind of guy. I'm getting a little bit older and really want a kind, loving family to take care of me. In return I will be your best mate. Would you have a place in your home for me?

Adoption fee includes vet check, flea and worm treatment, C5 vaccination and microchip (including transfer of ownership). Ottis is sterilised.

Our adoption process for the successful applicant includes a meet and greet, (including your dog if applicable), a home check (or photos of your yard and fencing to be supplied to us if not local), and a two week trial period to ensure your chosen dog is the right fit for your home.

All adoption fees must be deposited into our SAFE Bunbury bank account in full before adoption trial starts (we cannot accept cash). The Adoption Agreement will be emailed to the selected applicant in advance of meeting your chosen dog.

After the adoption trial period has been completed we arrange transfer of ownership of the dog's microchip to the new owner, and email out the vet records.
