About Yin
*In foster care in Waterloo, Sydney*
Get yourself on Yin's good side, and you'll have a loyal friend for life! Once this adorable tuxedoed lass feels comfortable in her surroundings, she turns into the snuggliest, chattiest kitty in the world :)
Yin enjoys showing affection in her own special ways! She loves to sit in your lap. Her favourite activities include keeping you company on the couch, rubbing against your leg to say 'Hello I missed you!', and joining you for smooches in bed. Yin is not so sure about pats yet but she is most affectionate with her cuddles.
During this winter season, Yin has been cleverly stealing her foster carer’s warm spot as soon as she gets up from the couch.

Like all Maggie's pets, Yin is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: Because I'll be shy when I first meet you, you'll need to be a kind and patient person who's willing to wait as long as it takes for me to warm up! I have blossomed under the loving care of my foster carer and learn a trick or two such as standing up as a penguin and eating treat out of your hand.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Fairly average, really! After my daily fifteen-minute session of interactive playtime with you, I'm happy to zoom around doing my own thing, hang out with any other resident kitties or disappear somewhere quiet for a long nap.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I haven't met any children yet, but I'm sure to appreciate gentle kids who respect my boundaries and understand that I don't like pats.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: With a slow and careful introduction, I have been known to get along purrfectly well with other friendly cats! I have been a good mate to the resident cat in my foster family. I haven't had the chance to meet any dogs so that's harder to predict.

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use these links rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
