About Trevor
Trevor is the dream dog you’ve been looking for. He’s got a golden combination of personality traits: loyal, loving and very happy!
Trevs is the most loving and affectionate dog and is always up for play. He’s fantastic with commands, such as sit, stay, drop and rollover. He tends to get distracted if there are other doggos around. His favourite things are playtime around the house, going to the beach for a swim, playing fetch or just a good cuddle and pat.
This golden boy absolutely loves cuddles, attention and just being with his people. He truly just loves love! Trevs is very loyal and showers you with kisses and cuddles, especially when you’re not feeling well. His mission in life is to brighten your day with his love. When his humans are around, he’s a very relaxed doggo, and he loves to shadow you around the house. Trevor has a few toys he loves to chew on, but otherwise, you can find him sunbaking or hanging around his humans.
He plays with his toys and sleeps when his humans are not around. At times he can get bored and occasionally up to mischief. Turning on the radio helps make him feel less lonely.
At night he likes to sleep in his bed next to you. You’ll have to wake him up, and he’ll be ready for a morning cuddle and a stretch. During the day, he spends his time outside in the garden and goes to the beach for a swim once his humans are returned. Trevs likes being social and making new doggo friends.
Trevor will go to bed around 9PM and 10PM. He loves a good nap, and sometimes it’s hard to wake him up, and he’s a little slow in the mornings!
Preferably Trevs spends his time inside unless he’s at the beach or the park. He lived with smaller dogs and a big dog before. He can get too excited at times if he’s not told to settle down. He gets overwhelmed when meeting dogs for the first time and sometimes shows his fear if he feels threatened. It will be like a house on fire as long as he has a calm introduction to new doggo friends. He’s also in the process of learning how to learn calmly on the lead, as he can be lead reactive at times. Trevor isn’t the biggest fan of our feline friends, but he’s never tried to hurt them.
Trevor is good with kids, although he doesn’t like being picked up and the younger, more boisterous kiddos. As long as they respect his boundaries, he’s a happy boy.

Trevor is fit as a fiddle!
Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
