About Scooby
â˘*⢠đś Scooby - available for adoption đśâ˘*â˘
My name is Scooby and I was found at a local pound two years ago by my Bestie. I'm not sure about anything before this, but I know I wandered around alot till I got busted, and I waited for someone to come get me! My Bestie showed up one day and I definitely won them over, I'm super sweet like that. My Bestie took me home where I've been loved and adored for the past two years, but they haven't been so well recently and had to move in with their family so that they can get all the love and care that they need too.
I met everyone at my Bestie's new place and I like the people a lot. People are my favourite. I really like hanging out on my bed while they work, or cuddling them on the couch, it's the best! I'm not keen on the other dog that is there though. That doggo is a bit high energy for me and we make cranky faces at each other through the baby gate. We aren't keen on hanging out together at all, and I don't like it when my Bestie or anyone else in the family pats that other doggo. My Bestie and their family took me and the other doggo to do a few weeks of training together and get introduced to properly. They thought that maybe they were doing it wrong and maybe we really DID want to hang out together, even if we didn't show it. When I met that doggo with the trainers, it was ok. I like sniffing that other doggo, but I'm far more interested in hanging out with the trainer. When I thought the trainer wasn't watching, I tried to tell that doggo that I'm the big boss. I don't really like sharing attention with that doggo. The trainers have told my Bestie and their family that I'm a really great girl, but I don't like any other doggos around. My Bestie knows that means we can't live together, and I know my Bestie is heartbroken about it.
I'm spending another month here with these cool trainers, they're teaching me how to be a super good doggo. My Bestie comes to see me when they can and I show off all my new skillz, like walking nicely on a lead, sit, drop, stay. I'm way calmer than I used to be, and this training thing is really good too. I want to keep it going, I like learning new things!
If I was asked what my favourite kind of home is, I'd say one where I'm the one and only doggo. I'm all about love and affection for my human, with lots of cuddles. I'd really like to spend time with a human who can keep training me, because I'm getting better and better at all the good girl doggo things. I like walks, I'm good at that now and I'm keen to keep up all my new skillz and learn some more! I haven't got the high energy of some other doggos, so I'm pretty happy with a walk or two a day and plenty of naps! I do ok by myself for a while, but it's always nice to have something to distract me while I'm alone. I've lived with a cat before and they were cool, because Catto was older and calm, she didn't run around alot or anything. I'm not keen on little Kiddos, they're a bit too high energy and unpredictable for me.
If you think I'm the right kind of doggo for you, my Besties family can have a chat about it. I know they have my best interests at heart and are working hard to match me with my dream human.
Love, Scooby
