About đ€Finneasđ€
Finneas is on the lookout for his purrfect fit in Sydney!
This sweet boy has just celebrated his sixth birthday and came to us after his owner left him to fend for himself on the streets. Thankfully the clinic he was taken to did their very best to ensure that he would have the best second chance he could. Finneas doesnât let it get him down though and knows that people are there to give him lots of love and cuddles whenever he might need it.
His favourite pastimes include:
Lying in the sun (inside)
âworking outâ
Head scratches - especially above his nose
Being brushed
Playing with pom poms
He will need a home that is willing to keep up his brushing to keep him looking fabulous. Just like all persians he will need daily (sometimes twice) cleaning of his eyes to keep them clean and healthy. Finneas is more than happy to cooperate with this!
His dislikes include:
Other cats
Wet food
Toys that move too fast
Water fountains
Finneas is looking for a home as an only cat as he is not able to co-exist with other cats in his home. This is non-negotiable and we understand that it can be disappointing but we do not make the decisions lightly and only after careful consideration of the needs of the cat. We are willing to consider homes with proven cat-friendly dogs who understand that he will need a very slow introduction to them. Finneas is a very outgoing boy and will settle easily into his home and loves running around wagging his tail! He would suit an all-adult home or one with respectful teenage children as long as he can snuggle and play with whomever he lives with. He is looking for an indoor home due to his pale colouring but we would consider a home with a secure outdoor enclosure that provides him plenty of shade.
Finneas is in care in Bligh Park and he is available for adoption in Sydney and surrounding suburbs.
Please note that only enquiries accompanied by a completed adoption questionnaire will receive a reply. https://www.squishiesrescue.org.au/adopt-cat
Medical notes
Finneas goes to his new home desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and up to date with parasite treatment. He has also tested negative to FIV and has had other medical testing to ensure he is in tip top health.
