About Zara
Zara is a super loving, easy-going, calm senior girl, looking for her retirement home.
She’s spent much of her time in foster care surrounded by younger children, who she adores. Her carers are convinced she was a Mum in her previous life. She’s so caring and calm around children. Zara is very family-oriented! She loves to be your shadow.
Most of Zara’s days are spent snoozing by her foster Dad’s side. Currently, Zara also goes on two short, 10-20 minute walks per day. One in the morning and one in the evening, which she would love to continue in her forever home.
We believe Zara would love to be the only-pet in her forever home to soak up all of the love and affection in her later years, as she truly deserves it!
Zara adores her pats. She is great with guests in the home, but equally loves quality time with her people. She’s also a perfect passenger in the car.
Zara will need ongoing positive reinforcement to let her know that walking by her human’s side when on the lead is the best place to be!
Her forever family will receive all the love and affection in the world from Zara. She truly is a once in a lifetime companion.
If I sound perfect for you, please complete the short adoption application form in the attached link, please note this is the only way your application will be considered: https://homelesshounds.com.au/adopt/dogs
Medical notes
Zara is desexed, microchipped and up to date with vaccinations and parasite control.
Zara has mitral valve disease (stage B2). She currently takes medication twice daily at her meal times.
