Macy

Macy is a small cream Kelpie, under 15kg. Macy was brought in to foster care with Pawfect Pals from a NSW pound as she was becoming depressed being stuck in a shelter environment. She was originally surrendered as her family were moving and couldn't take her with them.

Macy is very VERY affectionate with people and loves loves loves to cuddle. She is dog friendly though her play style is boisterous and pushy and not all dogs appreciate this. She is in foster care with another kelpie and they get along well.

As you would expect, Macy has lots of energy; a real pocket rocket! Macy will need an adopter with working breed experience that can offer her plenty of physical activity, perhaps someone who runs or cycles. Further to her physical needs, Macy needs someone who can provide mental stimulation and will continue her training, preferably in a formal setting like obedience classes. She is currently working on some basic training such as walking nicely on lead and is very clever. She is not suited to a home with cats.
