Hello there - nice to meet you on this site! Let me introduce myself: My name is Brian, and here at the shelter they say I am a total sweetie. I'm a BIG softie with a heart of gold and a shy purrsonality. In fact, my foster mum calls me a SWEETHEART and says I'm the easiest cat shes ever looked after. Not to blow my own trumpet but shes not lying!!

I turned 9 years old last birthday so I'm 'middle aged'. I'm looking for a second chance at love and am excited at the concept of finding my forever home. A home thats quiet and calm where I can spend my twilight years in relaxed comfort.

What am I looking for in a human?
- A person who'll show me patience and kindness while I settle in at my own pace, on account of my shyness
- A human that will start me off in a small, private area until I gather my thoughts and my 'brave' before exploring the rest of the house (this may take a few days).
- Someone special that will spend the evenings next to me on the couch and will rub my back and scratch under my chin, or behind my ear. Yep, I'm a sucker for affection...its the way to my heart 💜
- An abode where I'm the ONLY CAT as I get intimidated by other cats up in my personal space.
- My purrfect home will be with a MATURE family (NO kiddies under 12yo). A home where I'm loved unconditionally, kept well fed and cared for while also being provided with a safe INDOOR lifestyle. That's cool with you, right?

FYI: I'm a BIG lad who loves food...perhaps a little too much. Being on Lite food wouldnt go astray...just saying :)
