PLEASE NOTE: Dog Rescue Newcastle provide individual listings specific to each foster dog that comes through our doors. Each listing outlines the specific requirements, and home that we are looking for. Should you submit an application OR inquiry and NOT receive a response within 5 business days (Monday-Friday), please understand that you have not met the specific requirements of the foster carer and will not be proceeding to the next stage. Training : no training needed in looking CUTE, will lick faces, nibble ears and toes. Will poop anywhere I like now. Other than that, the rest is up to you to expose us to this big world. Trips to Bunnings, the beach, camping, train stations, bushwalks etc, basically anywhere you go, I'd like to go too ! Training me is not an option, it's an obligation.
Yard requirements: Fully fenced , puppy proof yard ( no rural fencing)
Family requirements: a loving home where I am part of the family. Allowed inside.
Children 8+ as they will need to help train me too !! I'm a family commitment.
Another dog of the opposite sex would be wonderful company and would also help teach me the doggy ropes.
Adoption fee : $700 , this covers my microchipping, worming, first two vaccinations and desexing. These puppies are not yet desexed, they are only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because they will need to be returned to a DRN approved vet for desexing when they are approximately 5/6 months old. Please NO out of area applications.
Adoptable Area: Newcastle, Hunter Valley, Central Coast, Port Stephens as I will need to be returned to our vets for desexing

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) After that we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home, nearby park or your home.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family
member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.

We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal
