Kenji may look like a teeny innocent floof but he is a mischief maker who clearly identifies as a kelpie on the inside! He will round up anything that moves (mop, broom, feet, dogs, balls, bird) and has athleticism and stamina that is seemingly endless! He will wrestle with all the dogs for hours and then still be found throwing his toys up in the air to catch and chase! He is often perched atop of the couch or found sleeping on the kitchen table.

A slippery little thing- he is an expert at slinking through doors between your feet, so secure fencing is a must. Although if asked to sit and wait when you go though a door he will stare up at you with puppy dog eyes while internally cursing you for leaving him behind.

He is a very excitable boy who is working on keeping his hip thrusting to himself. He just adores his dog foster brothers and sisters and will happily wear them out with wrestles one after the other or start up a multi dog zoomie session through the yard. A home with at least one young, energetic, compatible dog to snuggle up to and annoy with a game of bitey face would be ideal!

He is working on his house training - only the rare accident when it has been raining or when he's been inside overnight - this is something he will need support with in his new home. He does get a tad car sick but has been getting better with practice.

He loves kids, however he does not like his floofy tail being pulled, nor does he enjoy unsolicited sticky fingered hugs or being carried around like a teddy - a home with children who are experienced with dogs or are old enough to understand that dogs have boundaries that need to be respected would be ideal!

He's not looking to fulfil a small lapdog hole in someone's life - our social "thinks he's a kelpie" pup wants all the adventures and fun a vibrant Bustling home has to offer! If you think you can keep up with Kenjis lifestyle -please mention this in your application!
