About Lucy ~ 8mo Cattle Dog X(On Trial 17/7/22)
Meet Lucy this curious, playful 8 months old mini cattle X, who is looking for her forever home. This gorgeous girl is a friendly, happy pup who is always up for a bit of fun, whether it be playing tug-of-war with her foster human sisters, chewing her favour toy or going for a walk around the neighbourhood. Lucy loves the companionship of people and always interested to get to know anyone new who she comes across as well other dogs.
Lucy enjoys spending time both inside and out and does need you to provided her attention to keep her stimulated and therefore would benefit from a household that has someone at home at least part of the time through the day.
She is friendly with other dogs and always eager to introduce herself when out for a walk. Her training with walking on lead is ongoing and will require further attention – however she does love going for long walks or jogs.
Lucy would be ok to live with another dog however meet and greet would be required and she would be more suited to live with a male dog, Lucy has not been tested with cats.
As she is still a pup and a relatively small dog (11kg), her training is still ongoing and she can get a bit jumpy when excited and whilst she is great with kids and very patient, it is recommended that her forever family will have children older than 6yo.
Lucy is ongoing with toilet training. Since she has been in her foster family’s care, she has never had toilet accident inside the house. Lucy is not good at travelling in a car and does get nervous but once she gets out she is fine.
Lucy already has the makings of a great family dog, funny, playful, active, cheeky and simply loves being around people and attention.
Lucy is curious girl who loves just being by your side, snuggle up with you watching TV and being just around you. If you feel you can provide the right forever home for this beautiful girl and have plenty of time and love to give, please reach out.
